Staples Corner Shopping Park

Completed in 2009, the redevelopment of the former Courts and Focus units on a tight triangular site on the busy A5 Edgware Road just to the south of the M1 terminus in North London.

Totalling 7,000 sq m GIA, the development comprised of a new detached unit, and part demolition and extension of the Courts unit, and stripping back the Focus unit to the structural frame, and recladding to form four retail units and associated delivery, parking and landscaping.

There is a severe level difference between Geron Way and the rear of the development. Delivery to the central units is made possible by an enclosed scissor hoist. A plant platform suspended over the service area to the rear clad in louvres maximises service yard space for the end users.
