Equal Opportunities
Policy Statement
The firm supports the principle of equal opportunities in employment. It opposes all forms of unlawful or unfair discrimination on the grounds of colour, religion and or belief, race, nationality, ethnic or national origin, trade union membership or non–member ship, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, disability or being a part-time worker. It will treat individuals equally and fairly.
Saunders Architects LLP believes it is in the best interest of the firm, and its employees, to consider the talents and skills available in the community when employment opportunities arise. The firm is therefore committed, wherever practicable, to achieving and maintaining a workforce that broadly reflects the local community in which it operates.
Decisions on recruitment, selection, training, promotion and career management will be objective and based on criteria related to the job. Individuals will be selected on the basis of their relevant aptitudes, skills and abilities.
All employees, including new starters, are to be made aware of this policy and are required to observe the Firm's Equal Opportunity Procedure as stated in the Employee Handbook.
